PREQUALIFICATION FOR PROVIDERS FOR SUPPLIESAND SERVICES FOR THE FY 2023\/24.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kilembe Investments Ltd (KIL) is a registered Company Limited incorporated in 1997 with the objective of mobilizing private investment and creation of employment to the youth and improve rural setting standards of living.<\/p>\n

KIL is licensed by Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) for the Distribution and Sale of Electricity from the National Grid in Western Service Territory under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development. We Distribute and Sale Electricity to the final consumers in the licensed districts of Kasese, Rubirizi, Sheema, Mitooma, Bushenyi and Buhwejuoutside Umeme footprint.<\/p>\n

KIL is in the process of prequalifying providers for supplies and services for the Financial Year of 2023\/24. The company hereby invites competent firms to submit sealed pre-qualification bids for the following, supplies and services:<\/p>\n

CATEGORY A:\u00a0\u00a0 SUPPLIES.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Supply of electrical\/ Connection materials and accesories<\/li>\n
  2. Supply of Tools and equipment<\/li>\n
  3. Supply of computers, photocopiers, printers, accessories and electronic equipment.<\/li>\n
  4. Supply of printed stationary and Identity Cards<\/li>\n
  5. Supply of general stationary and small office equipment.<\/li>\n
  6. Supply of timber, office furniture, and furnishing materials<\/li>\n
  7. Supply of agricultural inputs and tree seedlings.<\/li>\n
  8. Supply of electricity poles.<\/li>\n
  9. Supply of Safety Wear and protective gears (PPEs)<\/li>\n
  10. Supply of fuel and other lubricants<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    CATEGORY B: SERVICES<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Repair services for computers, photocopiers and other related machines.<\/li>\n
    2. Provision of Secretarial, printing, binding and photocopying services<\/li>\n
    3. Provision of services for repairs and maintenance of Motor vehicles, Motor Cycles and Generators.<\/li>\n
    4. Provision of services for repairs and maintenance of transformers.<\/li>\n
    5. Provision for accommodation, hall hire, conference facilities, catering services, decoration and events management.<\/li>\n
    6. Provision of power line clearance services<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      TERMS AND CONDITIONS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. (a) All payments of non-refundable fees of 50,000<\/em><\/strong>for every item applied for should be paid on the Company\u2019s Account number<\/em>1510350359<\/strong>, Centenary Bank, Kasese Branch or 9030006329976, Stanbic Bank, Kasese Branch<\/em><\/strong>. A copy of the banking slip should be presented to the Company\u2019s Cashier for receipting.\u00a0 The receipt will be presented to the Procurement Officer for accessing the Application form \/ document.\u00a0 Subsequently an original receipt should be attached to the applications.<\/li>\n
      2. All the applicants must attach the following legal requirements:-\n
          \n
        1. Detailed company profile\/including physical and postal address of firms and Directors.<\/li>\n
        2. Original General receipt acknowledging payment of Application fee.<\/li>\n
        3. Current income Tax clearance certificate.<\/li>\n
        4. Certificate of Registration\/Incorporation.<\/li>\n
        5. Current operational permit\/ Licence.<\/li>\n
        6. Proof of VAT registration<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Application forms are available in the Procurement and Disposal section, and should be approached during office hours i.e. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.<\/li>\n
          2. In addition to the original of the Application, the number of copies required is one<\/strong> which must be properly sealed and clearly marked \u201cAPPLICATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION\u201d <\/strong>andshould be addressed and submitted\u00a0 to The Procurement Officer, Kilembe Investments Limited, Plot 47, Rwenzori Road, P.O. Box 341, Kasese<\/strong>not later than 10th<\/sup>July2023 at11:00 am <\/strong>and thereafter bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 A.m<\/strong>. at the Head Office open space where interested bidders\/representatives may choose to attend.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Late submissions will be rejected.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
